The first meeting of SciELO Chile Editors, of SciELO Chile, was held on January 10-12, 2006 in Santiago, Chile, and celebrated the first 50 titles of the collection, a figure achieved in 2005. SciELO Chile currently has 50 titles in its collection, whereas SciELO Brazil, the most developed collection in SciELO network, has 157. Dr.Álvaro Atallah, Director of Centro Cochrane do Brasil, an organization connected to the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo) and one of the institutions that celebrated the BIREME/PAHO/WHO maintenance agreement, issued a formal statement about the support for the organization holding the XV Cochrane Colloquium.
