Mexico launches VHL HIV/AIDS

On February 22, 2006, in the auditorium of the Centro de Información para Decisones en Salud (CENIDS) [National Health Information and Documentation Center], in Mexico City, the Virtual Health Library on HIV/AIDS was publicly launched, in the presence of the directors of INSP, CENSIDA, CENIDS and BIREME/PAHO/WHO, as well as other health professionals. Professors from Unifesp have books under approval process at Paltex

The books Parada Cardiorespiratória e Equilíbrio Ácido-base and Hidroelétrolítico written by physicians from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp), were indicated for the The Expanded Textbook and Instructional Materials Program (Paltex) which is coordinated by the Pan American Health Association (PAHO/WHO). Congress on Therapeutic Accompaniment brings innovation to VHL Psychology network

On March 3rd, 2006, in a meeting held at BIREME/PAHO/WHO headquarter, the teams of AAT and VHL Psychology (VHL Psy) defined the use of the VHL model tools for the effective management of an event yet to be held in Brazil: the Congress of Therapeutic Accompaniment , which will take place in Sao Paulo in September of 2006.. It was also decided to include the issue in VHL Psy, which will gather and make available scientific and technical information and disseminate it throughout LA & C countries

BIREME and CL collaborators conclude the Remote Course on Information sources search

BIREME/PAHO/WHO Collaborators and the Central Library (CL), in collaboration with the Remote Education Laboratory (DIS) of Unifesp, concluded the 1st Remote Course on Research Methodology and Preparation. The course was promoted and coordinated by BIREME and CL/UNIFESP. The main objective was to improve knowledge and encourage functional progression of the participants. This line of action and encouragement are aligned with the Learning and Informed Environments methodology
