The meeting of the VHL, NECOBELAC and SciELO networks took place in Rome, Italy, and was presentially or remotely attended by participants from their European, Latin American and Caribbean members. The SciELO Brazil adopted the Creative Commons Licensing “Attribution – Non-commercial Use” (CC BY-NC). The license establishes that shared texts must make attribution according to the author’s indication and must not be traded. The decision upon the CC BY-NC license was made after analysis and consulting experts, editors and members of the Advisory Committee of the Brazilian collection. The editors can also choose less restrictive licenses. The adoption of the Creative Commons will be extended to other collections of the SciELO network
